| Denver Loses, 4-2, in 10 | The Seattle Pilots picked up a win at Pilots Park, topping the Denver Queens, 4-2. On the mound for Seattle was left-hander Jon Prado. He played a principal role in the triumph. Seattle bumps their record to 21-29 with the win.
The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Seattle. That's when Salvador Castillo hit a 3-run home run off 30-year old left-handed pitcher Sergio Aguilar to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
"Sometimes winning takes more than 27 outs," said Pilots manager David Fields. | | | | |
