Denver Queens starter Brad Foran found his groove in his team's 2-1 win over the San Francisco Pioneers. Denver reliever Brad Foran got the win, raising his record to 3-2. Brett Skinner was tagged with the loss. The victory makes Denver 14-36.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Queens had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fourth, when third baseman Eddie Steffes hit a 2-run single. The single came off Brett Skinner and made the score 2-0, Queens. Steffes went 1 for 3, while adding 2 RBI.

"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Foran.
