| Seattle Loses, 3-0, to Denver in 10 | In a low-scoring game between Denver and Seattle, Josh Neal was fantastic. The Queens right-hander, who is tied for 5th in the UL in innings pitched with 76.1, helped his team beat the Pilots, 3-0, in 10 innings. Denver reliever Danny Castro snagged the win, upping his record to 1-1. Adam Krawczuk shouldered the loss. The victory gives Denver a record of 34-17.
Denver used a clutch hit from Sal Vallejo to snatch the win. The left fielder belted a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Queens ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit, but it was huge.
"Josh did a nice job," said Queens manager David Fields. | | | | |
