| Pioneers Win at Denver, 9-5 | The San Francisco Pioneers picked up a win at Queens Field, topping the Denver Queens, 9-5. On the mound for San Francisco was left-hander Alex Sanchez. He played a principal role in the triumph. The win makes San Francisco 25-26.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the top of the sixth inning. That's when second baseman Jason Green, who finished 5th in the UL in hits with 130 in 2024, hit a double. The Pioneers went on to win.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Green.
