Sunrays Advance to World Series
The Tampa Bay Sunrays have advanced to the World Series, with a 6-5 triumph at Empire Ballpark over the New York Empire.

The win sealed a 4-1 series win for Tampa Bay.

The series MVP honor went to Sunrays first baseman Carlos Cruz.

"It takes every guy in that dugout to win games, not just me," Cruz said afterward. "I'm proud to be moving on."

The Tampa Bay Sunrays don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Leon Toltecs - San Francisco Pioneers series. San Francisco leads the series 3 games to 2. The World Series schedule will be announced after the Conference Championship finishes.
