| Rangers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Hitters | Houston starter Miguel Jimenez pitched well against the Hollywood Hitters at Globe Life Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 11 innings. The winner was Al Reyes in relief. His record improves to 2-1. David Fernandez took the loss. The victory gives the Rangers a record of 29-23.
The Rangers got a clutch hit from shortstop Luke Bychyk. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Rangers.
"Winning never gets dull," said Bychyk.
