Ricardo Davalos pitched well, but his team, the Mexico City Marauders , still dropped a 4-1 decision to the Leon Toltecs at Marauders Field. Alex Ramirez was credited with the save for Leon, his 18th of the season. Leon now owns a record of 37-17.

Chris Joyce had a big 2-run home run for the Toltecs in the top of the second inning. With Leon trailing 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a curveball from Ricardo Davalos, who finished 3rd in the IL in wins with 13 in 2038, and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Toltecs on top, 2-1.

"We took home the win," said Joyce. "What's not to like?"
