Brenes Hits 2 home runs in Rangers Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Atlanta Peaches and Houston Rangers get after it.

The Houston Rangers stopped the Atlanta Peaches, 9-2, at Globe Life Field. The Rangers got a big game from Eddie Brenes, who went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The win puts Houston at 21-36.

Kareem Mealing had a big 2-run double for the Rangers in the bottom of the second inning. With Houston leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a cutter from Miguel Millan, who finished 3rd in the IL in wins with 13 in 2040, and swatted a double to left. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rangers ahead, 3-0.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Mealing. "And not try to do too much."
