| Firebirds Rally to Win | The Phoenix Firebirds downed the Oklahoma City Twisters, 6-5. The hitting star was catcher Danny Monter. Monter went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs for the Firebirds. Phoenix raised its record to 33-22 with the win.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With two out, Monter hit a fastball from Darrell Stinson for a run-scoring single. The Firebirds, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"I like our clubhouse vibe," said Phoenix manager David Fields.
