| Beairsto Tames Twisters | Phoenix turned a good effort from starter Johnny Beairsto into a win over the Oklahoma City Twisters at Firebirds Ballpark. The Firebirds won the game, 1-0. With the win, Phoenix pushed its record to 34-23.
Phoenix starter Johnny Beairsto was a master of his craft. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 8 innings.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Beairsto told the Phoenix Herald.
