| Pioneers Score Late to Beat Rangers, 3-2 | San Francisco picked up a win at Pioneers Park, bumping off the Houston Rangers, 3-2. Pitcher Danny Gephart was a major reason the Pioneers emerged victorious. San Francisco reliever Robert Medina was the winner. His record is now 2-2. Jake Braun took the loss. John Pilkington was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 5 of 7 save opportunities.
San Francisco took the lead, 3-2, on Hugo Uribe's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Houston pitcher Jake Braun in the bottom of the eighth.
