Even as a kid, David Felmlee said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Pilots Park, Felmlee showed how well he learned that lesson.

The 23-year-old right fielder had 5 hits in 6 at-bats for the Hollywood Hitters, helping his team knock off the Seattle Pilots by a score of 16-6.

"They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did."

David Felmlee struck out in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Mario Alvarez in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
