| Smallman Slams 3 Deep for Montreal Tuesday, April 25th , 2045 Montreal Mammoths shortstop David Smallman had a magnificent game against the Tampa Bay Sunrays, rocketing three balls out of Mammoths Field to help the Mammoths win, 13-5.
"I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes."
For the game, Smallman went 3-for-4 with 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Montreal manager David Fields said later. "Seems like David found his home run stroke today."
David Smallman hit a three-run home run off Jeff Bolser in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Izzy Zambrano in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Spartak Feschenko in the 8th.
