Tuesday, June 6th , 2045
Roberto Valladarez announced his retirement today according to sources inside the Philadelphia Fury organization.

Valladarez, who is 36 years old, gave reporters some of his plans for the near future.

"I'm going to do a lot of hunting and fishing," he said. "I've always been focused on getting ready for the next season, so maybe now I can slow down and enjoy time away from it all."

Valladarez went back and forth with the press in a friendly manner during his press conference.

"I'm sure there's a small-mouth bass out there with my name on it," he said.

Valladarez has pitched in 296 games in his career, posting no saves, 1601 strikeouts and a record of 75 victories and 92 losses. His lifetime ERA stands at 3.87.
