The 2045 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Houston was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 3rd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2042. In total, the Rangers have missed the playoffs 16 times in their 22-year history.
