| 600 Homers for Cardenas Saturday, July 15th , 2045 It was a historic day in the life of Mario Cardenas. The 40-year-old Mexico City first baseman recorded the 600th homer of his career in the Marauders 5-1 triumph over the San Francisco Pioneers.
In the clubhouse after the game, Cardenas told BNN, "I was just looking for a ball to drive, and I got one."
Lifetime Cardenas has played in 2241 games, batted .299 with 600 home runs and 2416 base hits.
