Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the 2045 postseason. "It's weird, yesterday we were all talking about what we needed to do to make it to the World Series and now we're just counting down the days until the offseason, said Jets second baseman Lorenzo Sandoval. Before this season, the Jets last missed the playoffs in 2043. In the 22 years they have been a Federal Baseball League franchise, they have missed the playoffs 13 times.
