Round 1 Goes the Distance, León HS Prevails
Wednesday, April 26th , 2045
The León HS Bulldogs and Zapopan HS Huskies didn't hold back anything in the Round 1, with each team pulling out all the stops in an effort to advance to the Round 2.

León HS won the final game by a score of 7-6 at Bulldogs Stadium and that concluded the series, 4-3.

"Relief is the biggest thing," León HS second baseman Manny Galvan said when asked how he felt. "It's a grind both mentally and physically to have a long series like this, but our guys stuck with it and Zapopan HS deserves credit for the hard fight."

Galvan paced the León HS offence and earned MVP honors. For the series, he hit .406 with a .424 on-base percentage, 4 home runs, 9 RBI and scored 7 runs.

The León HS Bulldogs will play against the Ecatepec HS River Sharks in the next round. Ecatepec HS won their series against the Acapulco HS Typhoon 4 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.

Tuesday, April 25th , 2045
The San Luis Potosí HS Flight and Edmonton HS Peregrines held nothing back in an entertaining Round 1 that went the distance.

In the end, it will be San Luis Potosí HS advancing to the Round 2, after a 9-2 triumph in the final game at Peregrines Park, to wrap up the series 4-3.

The Flight players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Peregrines.

River Sharks Heading to Round 2
Tuesday, April 25th , 2045
A 8-2 triumph at River Sharks Park has wrapped up the Round 1 for the Ecatepec HS River Sharks.

"We're off to the Round 2," said River Sharks second baseman Manny Sanchez, who was named series MVP after his club eliminated the Acapulco HS Typhoon by a series score of 4-2. "You can never take a win in a series like this for granted," he said.

The Ecatepec HS River Sharks don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Zapopan HS Huskies - León HS Bulldogs series. Zapopan HS leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
