 | Danny Luna Drills 3 HR in One Game Monday, April 21st , 2042 Fans are still buzzing after Guadalajara HS whipped the Chihuahua HS Golden Gophers by the score of 12-3 at Grand Slam Park. Danny Luna smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the first baseman bashed out 4 hits in 5 at-bats, had 5 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Luna said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Luna said. "Three is just... wow." Danny Luna hit a two-run home run off Dave Buffy in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Dave Buffy in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Manuel Mancilla in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. So far this season, Luna has recorded a .388 batting average with 54 hits, 15 home runs, 51 RBIs, 39 runs scored and a .503 OBP. |   |
