 | Monterrey HS Takes Round 1 in Deciding Game Saturday, April 26th , 2042 In an exciting Round 1 that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is FBL High School 1 fans who have come out the winner. But on the field, the winners were the Monterrey HS Rough Riders, who edged the Virginia Beach HS Speedsters 4-3 to advance to the Round 2. Monterrey HS won the final game by a 5-2 count to wrap up the series. Danny Adorno earned series MVP honors, by hitting .414 with a .452 on-base percentage. He had 5 home runs, drove in 10 RBI and scored 9 runs. The Monterrey HS Rough Riders will play against the Indianapolis HS Reds in the next round. Indianapolis HS won their series against the Santa Ana HS Atlantics 4 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |   |
