 | Chihuahua HS Beats Indianapolis HS in Round 3 Tuesday, May 13th , 2042 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Chihuahua HS Golden Gophers, that meant the FBL High School 1 Round 3 trophy. The Golden Gophers took a 9-1 victory over the Indianapolis HS Reds at Chihuahua HS Stadium, winning their 1st championship after taking the series 4-3. "We've got grit," said Golden Gophers first baseman Willie Soltero, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to." The new titleholders completed the regular season with a first-place finish in the Conference 1 Division 2 and a 25-13 record. |   |
