 | 20-Game Hitting Streak for Sabino Saturday, March 11th , 2045 Ramiro Sabino, first baseman for the Monterrey HS Rough Riders, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 3 hits in his club's 14-7 victory over the Mérida HS Sultans at Mérida HS Fields. "Not the outcome we wanted," Mérida HS manager said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Ramiro Sabino singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Bill Roberts in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Thus far this year, Sabino is hitting .490 with 8 home runs, 20 RBIs and 14 runs scored. |   |
