The 18-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Speedsters past the Ecatepec HS River Sharks. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Jones told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The second baseman went 3-for-3, rung up 4 RBIs and scored 5 runs on his record-setting day. Gary Jones hit a solo-shot off Alejandro Triana in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Alejandro Triana in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Frank Sosa in the 6th and walked in the 8th. Thus far this year, Jones is batting .468 with 10 home runs, 21 RBIs and 16 runs scored. |   |
