Gone Again! 3 HR for Vandersall Tuesday, March 14th , 2045 It was a terrific day for Dusty Vandersall, who ripped three home runs at Huskies Park, and a disappointing one for the Brooklyn HS Vipers who, nevertheless, dropped the game, 11-10, to the Zapopan HS Huskies. "He was instant offense," Brooklyn HS skipper said. "Dusty really put on a show. He more than did his part. We just didn't come through with hits at the right time to win the game." For the day, Vandersall collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 6 RBIs. In the postgame press conference he told the reporters he has always liked to hit at Huskies Park. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he said. Dusty Vandersall flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Andy Gonzalez in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Frank Renteria in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Chris Beeler in the 6th and flied out in the 9th. This season, Vandersall is batting .489 with 8 home runs. He has scored 20 runs and driven in 30. |   |
