 | Savard Belts 5 Hits Thursday, March 16th , 2045 It was a parade of hits for Chad Savard of the Ottawa HS Scots at San Jose HS Stadium. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Savard finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Scots to a win, 12-3. "Savard was really good and we were really bad," groaned Maples manager . "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Chad Savard walked in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jake Chaney in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
