 | Wood Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Wednesday, March 22nd , 2045 Lawrence Wood had an answer for everything the Guadalupe HS Swashbucklers threw at him at Swarm Stadium. The Calgary HS second baseman went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Swarm a win, 13-4. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Wood said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Lawrence Wood singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Luis Chavez in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. At present, Wood is batting .324 and has collected 4 home runs, 15 RBIs, .437 OBP and scored 14 runs. |   |
