 | Sabino Stretches Hit String to 30 Thursday, March 23rd , 2045 Ramiro Sabino ran his hitting streak to 30 straight games at Scots Stadium, when he collected 1 hit in 3 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Monterrey HS Rough Riders dropped the game, 10-6, to the Ottawa HS Scots. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Sabino said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Ramiro Sabino hit a two-run triple in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd and struck out in the 5th. On the season, Sabino is batting .449 with 8 home runs and 29 RBIs. He has played in 21 games. |   |
