The Memphis HS Black Dogs starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Edmonton HS Peregrines and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Ewing was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a bone spur in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 4-5 months.
