But they didn't add up to enough to beat the Columbus HS A's as the Acapulco HS Typhoon went down to defeat, 6-5. "It was a good game for me, not so good for our team," the Acapulco HS right fielder said. "I got lucky. I made some good swings on some pitches. We just didn't put up one in the win column." On his monumental day, he had 3 hits in 3 at-bats, drove in 5 runs, and scored 3 times. "The third one was totally unexpected," Arias told reporters after his extraordinary game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get another home run and bang, I got number three." Juan Arias hit a solo-shot off Jake Reilly in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Jake Reilly in the 4th, walked in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off John Claypool in the 8th.
