 | Salazar Whacks 3 Out of the Park for Juarez HS Friday, March 14th , 2042 Ramon Salazar was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 7-6 Juarez HS Vikings triumph at Vikings Park. The 15-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Vikings past the Columbus HS A's. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Salazar told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The catcher went 4-for-4, rung up 5 RBIs and scored 4 runs on his record-setting day. Ramon Salazar walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off John Evins in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Mike Wegner in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Matt Smith in the 8th. At the moment, Salazar is hitting .354 with 7 home runs and 19 RBIs. He has played in 11 games and scored 16 times. |   |
