 | Sepulveda Slams 3 Deep for Indianapolis HS Thursday, April 13th , 2045 Jonathan Sepulveda went on an explosive hitting spree against the Calgary HS Swarm at Great American Ball Park, launching a trio of blasts to help the Indianapolis HS Reds win, 9-4. The first baseman finished 4-for-5 with 3 runs scored and 5 RBI. "It was just one of those days," Sepulveda said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball." Calgary HS skipper said Sepulveda was "locked-in." "We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him." Jonathan Sepulveda flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Darby Chartrand in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jeff Acorn in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Bruce Pederson in the 8th. Sepulveda is hitting at a .415 mark this season. His stats show 18 home runs, 48 RBIs and 39 runs scored. He has played 34 games for the Reds. |   |
