 | Rock Swats 3 HR Against Columbus HS Friday, April 14th , 2045 Los Angeles HS Speedsters catcher John Rock had a magnificent game against the Columbus HS A's, rocketing three balls out of Speedsters Fields to help the Speedsters win, 12-6. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Rock went 3-for-4 with 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Los Angeles HS manager said later. "Seems like John found his home run stroke today." John Rock hit a two-run home run off Zach Peterson in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Zach Peterson in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Evan Billings in the 7th. In the 2045 season Rock is hitting .263 with 5 home runs. |   |
