For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Neil Rusho, it came around today. The 15-year-old second baseman scattered hits all over Mérida HS Fields to pace the 8-6 Memphis HS Black Dogs victory over the Mérida HS Sultans. Mérida HS skipper told reporters in the press room that "Rusho deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Rusho hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Neil Rusho singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and doubled in the 10th. Rusho currently has a .341 batting average with 46 hits, 11 homers, 35 RBIs, 26 runs scored and a .448 OBP. |   |
