Columbus HS A's left fielder Joe Barnett failed to get a hit against the Brooklyn HS Vipers and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 18-year-old went 0-for-2 in his club's 14-2 victory over the Vipers at Vipers Grounds. "I think I only made it to 22 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak." Barnett is currently batting .446 with 4 home runs, 17 runs scored and 14 RBIs. His OBP is .579. |   |
