 | 3-HR Game for Hodges Monday, April 11th , 2039 Mark Hodges of the Scots went on a hitting spree at Scots Stadium and earned membership in the select club of hitters who have hit three home runs in a game. He blasted three into the stands in a loss, 11-9, to the Tlalnepantla HS Blue Knights. "I'm not happy with the outcome of the game, but it was still a great game for me," Hodges said in the clubhouse following the loss. "I have been making solid contact lately, but not getting any lift. Today I got it up in the air and out of the ballpark. I had my home run swing down pat. Got some good pitches to hit, too." The Ottawa HS catcher did indeed have quite a game, collecting 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 6 RBIs and scoring 3 runs. Mark Hodges grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Salvador Gonzalez in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off David Zamora in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Jordan Rivera in the 8th. Hodges is currently batting .351 with 17 home runs, 36 runs scored and 46 RBIs. His OBP is .437. |   |
