Oscar Rodriguez discovered that today at San Jose HS Stadium, as he smashed three home runs during the 15-5 San Jose HS Maples win over the Mississauga HS Wingnuts. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the San Jose HS left fielder said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Rodriguez finished the day with 5 hits in 5 at-bats and 5 RBIs. Oscar Rodriguez doubled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Kelly Lundy in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Andy Bint in the 3rd, walked in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Leon Holmes in the 7th and singled in the 8th. So far this year, Rodriguez is batting .485 with 13 home runs, 28 RBIs and 24 runs scored. |   |
