 | Great Day for Tishler -- 5 Hits Wednesday, April 15th , 2043 It was a sensational day at the plate for Ottawa HS Scots catcher Dustin Tishler, but a tough one for the team, as the Scots dropped the contest, 10-4, to the Monterrey HS Rough Riders. Even with the loss, Tishler was pure misery for the Monterrey HS pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked after going 5-for-5 in an explosive display of hitting. "It's always good to get a bunch of hits in a game, but you also want to win," said Tishler, who is the 17-year old catcher . "Tishler really hit the ball hard and when you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage," Rough Riders manager told BNN reporters after the game. "I feel like we threw him some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Dustin Tishler singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Fred Armstrong in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Tishler is swinging at a .535 pace on the year with 8 home runs, 22 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has played in 18 games. |   |
