 | Guatemala HS Moves on to Division Series Friday, April 22nd , 2039 After eliminating the Tlalnepantla HS Blue Knights 10-3 in the Wildcard Series at Tlalnepantla HS Stadium, the victorious Guatemala HS Atlantics will now move on to the next round: the Division Series. Guatemala HS beat Tlalnepantla HS 3-1 in the series. The MVP trophy was awarded to Atlantics second baseman Israel Tovar, who knocked in 8 runs, hit .533 and scored 3 times. "The guys were all chanting 'M-V-P' when I went into the clubhouse," Tovar said later, with a smile. "It was kind of embarrassing but it feels great to be here." The Guatemala HS Atlantics will play against the Ottawa HS Scots in the next round. Ottawa HS won their series against the Mérida HS Sultans 3 games to 0.
