 | McLeod Bashes 3 HR for Mississauga HS Thursday, March 20th , 2042 Fans are still buzzing after Mississauga HS whipped the Monterrey HS Rough Riders by the score of 4-2 at Rough Riders Grounds. Frank McLeod smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the second baseman bashed out 3 hits in 5 at-bats, had 4 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, McLeod said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," McLeod said. "Three is just... wow." Frank McLeod struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Federico Castillo in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Mario Checa in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Ismael Benavidez in the 9th. Posting a .303 batting average to date, McLeod has 8 home runs and 19 RBIs. |   |
