 | Ovalles Homers 3 Times Against Acapulco HS Saturday, March 22nd , 2042 León HS Bulldogs catcher Tony Ovalles left the Acapulco HS pitching staff in ruins at Bulldogs Stadium, beating the Typhoon, 24-10, with a prodigious three-home run performance. "The last one was totally unexpected," Ovalles told reporters at the press conference following his big game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get a home run, and bang, I got number three." For the game, the León HS catcher had 4 hits in 7 at-bats, drove in 5 and scored 4 runs. Tony Ovalles grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Juan Pedraza in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Roberto Ramirez in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Miguel Albino in the 8th. To date Ovalles has chalked up a .329 average with 9 home runs, driven in 16 runs and scored 16 times. |   |
