 | Wildcard Series Goes the Distance, Guadalajara HS Prevails Monday, April 25th , 2039 The Guadalajara HS Grand Slam and Santo Domingo HS Naturals hooked up in a classic Wildcard Series that went right down to the wire. In the end, it's Guadalajara HS heading off to the Division Series, after a 6-5 win at Grand Slam Park tonight earned the 3-2 series win. Outside Grand Slam Park, whether they were supporters of Guadalajara HS or Santo Domingo HS, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget. Leonardo Estrada played the hero for the Grand Slam in the series, as his MVP performance included a .565 batting average, with a .630 on-base percentage. He also had 6 home runs, 11 RBI and scored 9 runs. The Guadalajara HS Grand Slam will play against the Chihuahua HS Golden Gophers in the next round. Chihuahua HS won their series against the Los Angeles HS Speedsters 3 games to 1. The Division Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes. |   |
