 | Pipeliners Advance to Round 2 Thursday, April 25th , 2041 The Managua HS Pipeliners said they felt the Round 1 with the Naucalpan HS Bandits would go the distance. But it didn't end up being that difficult, as Managua HS advanced to the Round 2 with a 15-12 score, to clinch the series 4-2 at Bandits Park. "Whether it goes to the final game or not, we faced a good team and got the job done. It's a big momentum boost for us," said Bill Prudente, who was named series MVP. "We're all feeling good about our chances to win the Round 3." For the series, Prudente hit .357 with a .345 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 10 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Managua HS Pipeliners don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Zapopan HS Huskies - Columbus HS A's series. Columbus HS leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |   |
