Jason Bennett took FBL High School 1 by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 16.
For his spectacular campaign, the Indianapolis HS Reds star has been named the 2045 Conference 2 Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the shortstop.
On the season he compiled a .380 batting average to go with a .472 on-base percentage. The native of Sharonville, Ohio also added 12 doubles, no triples, 19 home runs, 49 RBIs and 47 runs scored.
He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 30. Michael Teel of the Virginia Beach HS Speedsters finished second in voting with 7 first place votes, while Chandler Cashmann of the Mississauga HS Wingnuts finished third with 8 first place votes.
