He walloped three into the stands to pace the Vikings to a win, 10-9, over the Austin HS Bucs. The Juarez HS right fielder collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 7 and scored 3 runs. "I don't know, you never know when things are going to fall into place," he told the press after his big game. "Today, I didn't have any special insight or adjustment, I just happened to get three pitches I was ready for." Manny Castellanos hit a solo-shot off Ken Kennedy in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Bryan Budd in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Joe Smith in the 8th.
