 | Peregrines Win Round 2 Saturday, May 4th , 2041 Fans at Swashbucklers Grounds saw the Round 2 come to a close today, as the Edmonton HS Peregrines defeated the Guadalupe HS Swashbucklers by a score of 8-4, and advanced to the Round 3. Edmonton HS won the series 4-2 and will now continue their march toward the Round 3. "It feels good to be moving on, I can't deny it," said left fielder Martin McAndrew, who was named series MVP. "Not everyone thought we'd make it this far." The Edmonton HS Peregrines don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Columbus HS A's - Managua HS Pipeliners series. Columbus HS leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |   |
