 | Yanes Hitless, Stopped by Rough Riders Sunday, March 30th , 2042 Tegucigalpa HS Devils right fielder Josue Yanes and his hot bat finally met their match at Rough Riders Grounds. The Monterrey HS Rough Riders snapped his 23-game hitting string, holding Yanes hitless in 4 at-bats and also whipping Tegucigalpa HS, 12-2, for good measure. "We're real pleased with this one," Rough Riders manager said. "Nobody wants to be on the wrong end of a streak like that, and clobbering Tegucigalpa HS makes it even sweeter." This season, Yanes has banged out 30 hits in 95 at-bats for a .316 average with 5 home runs. He is getting on base at a .396 pace and his totals also include 21 RBIs and 14 runs scored. |   |
