 | Columbus HS Takes Round 2 in Deciding Game Monday, May 6th , 2041 The Columbus HS A's and Managua HS Pipeliners hooked up in a classic Round 2 that went right down to the wire. In the end, it's Columbus HS heading off to the Round 3, after a 11-2 win at A's Park tonight earned the 4-3 series win. Outside A's Park, whether they were supporters of Columbus HS or Managua HS, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget. Randy Wood played the hero for the A's in the series, as his MVP performance included a .375 batting average, with a .516 on-base percentage. He also had 8 home runs, 10 RBI and scored 8 runs. The Columbus HS A's will play against the Edmonton HS Peregrines in the next round. Edmonton HS won their series against the Guadalupe HS Swashbucklers 4 games to 2.
