It has been bestowed on Eddie Rodriguez of the Zapopan HS Huskies. The 16-year-old Huskies ace finished the year with a 2-0 mark, logged 8 starts, threw 38.2 innings, yielded 41 hits, struck out 43 and held the opposition to a .263 batting average. He received 26 first place votes out of a possible 30.
