 | Reliever of the Year Award Goes to Estes Saturday, May 24th , 2042 Mike Estes said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 17 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Indianapolis HS Reds rising star has won the Conference 2 Reliever of the Year Award for 2042. He captured the award on the strength of his 2.11 ERA over 21.1 innings. He also had no saves in 12 relief appearances, 17 strikeouts and only 7 walks. He received 28 first place votes out of a possible 30. Tony Ruiz of the Havana HS Patriots finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Tomas Palacios of the Santa Ana HS Atlantics finished third.
