 | Hitting Streak Still Alive for Sanchez Friday, April 4th , 2042 Edward Sanchez of the Havana HS Patriots extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 2 hits in today's 12-8 triumph over the Ottawa HS Scots at Scots Stadium. "Edward has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Patriots manager joked after the game. Edward Sanchez singled in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, walked in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Danny Rodriguez in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. This season, Sanchez has hit at a .429 clip with 43 RBIs, 14 home runs and 26 runs scored. He has played in 28 games. |   |
