Calgary HS Swarm second baseman Matt Beauman failed to get a hit against the Mérida HS Sultans and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 16-year-old went 0-for-2 in his club's 15-2 victory over the Sultans at Swarm Stadium. "I think I only made it to 21 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak." Beauman is currently hitting at a .366 pace with 11 home runs and 35 RBIs. |   |
