 | Sellick Connects for 3 Homers for Wingnuts Friday, April 8th , 2044 It was a terrific day for Dustin Sellick, who ripped three home runs at Atlantics Grounds, and a disappointing one for the Mississauga HS Wingnuts who, nevertheless, dropped the game, 13-6, to the Santa Ana HS Atlantics. "He was instant offense," Mississauga HS skipper said. "Dustin really put on a show. He more than did his part. We just didn't come through with hits at the right time to win the game." For the day, Sellick collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 6 RBIs. In the postgame press conference he told the reporters he has always liked to hit at Atlantics Grounds. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he said. Dustin Sellick grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Chris Johnson in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Jose Jauregui in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Ruben Calderon in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. To date, Sellick has collected 44 hits for a .367 average. He has posted 14 home runs, scored 37 runs and driven in 29 runs. |   |
